Ghana midfielder James Kotei was the star of the day for Simba FC as they defeated KMC by two goals to one in the Tanzanian Premier League.

The tireless Ghanaian midfield anchor setup Emmanuel Okwi for the opener with a free kick in the 23rd minute as Simba recorded an emphatic 2-1 away win.

Kotei was superb in the middle of the pitch as he provided cover for the back four and also join the attack when needed.

The former Liberty Professionals and Al Orubah enforcer has arguably been Simba’s best player this season and was instrumental as they reached the CAF Champions League second round.
