Hearts of Oak coach Kim Grant admits it was important for his side to bounce back from defeat to WAFA with the win over Inter Allies on Wednesday.
Second half goals from Robert Sowah Addo and Joseph Esso earned the Phobians all three points in the Zone B fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“We are coming back from a defeat, the most important thing is for us to get a win. I got a great respect from the players” Grant said after the match.
“The game wasn’t exactly brilliant, but most importantly we kept a clean sheet. We got the win we needed and hopefully that will be a platform for us to carry up hopefully on Sunday” He told the media after his side win against Inter Allies.
Hearts will face Inter Allies again on Sunday at Tema park in the second round of the novelty league.
