The Executive Director of Dreams FC Kurt Okraku has applauded the National Chief Imam His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu over his decision to visit the Christ the King Church in Accra.
The National Chief Imam, who is the symbol and embodiment of Muslims in Ghana, accepted an invitation from the Christ the King Church and paid them a visit in Sunday.
The gesture by the National Chief Imam, who will be celebrating his centenary birthday on Tuesday, has been applauded by the head of the model Ghanaian club who insists it’s a symbol of unification.
“He’s an amazing leader,” Kurt Okraku said.
“He’s shown that he is a unifier and that we all look up yo one God,” he added.
“On this day, he has told all of us to be one people… including football people by his gesture.
Kurt also wished him a happy birthday in advance as the Muslim Ummah look forward to a wonderful celebration on Tuesday.
” I wish him a happy birthday in advance,” he added.
Sheikh Sharubutu has always spoke about unity and peaceful coexistence with members of other religions.
