After suffering a horrendous robbery attacked on their way to play Achiken FC in the Tier 2 of the Normalization Committee Special Competition, Asokwa Deportivo are set to play BYF Academy on Saturday.
The Division One side was given enough time by the Normalization Committee to recover from the trauma and the stress the team went through during the attack.
But surprisingly, less than a week after the unfortunate incident, the club has announced they are ready for action and will face Bekwai Youth Academy on Sartuday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
They confirmed their readiness on their official twitter handle on Friday.
“We have decided to play our match this weekend even though the Normalization Committee has given us whatever time we may need to recover after our robbery incident over the weekend..The lads have been training hard this week and they are ready💪🏽💪🏽🔥. We are ready!!! #Namoro”
