Ghanaian striker Richard Appiah is on the road to full fitness after his six-month injury lay off

The 21-year-old attacker torn the ligaments in his knee last September when playing for Ethiopian giants Saint-George.

Appiah had surgery in October and he is now getting better  as he eyes a return to football.

“I am in Turkey now having my recovery, it has been good and I am doing well. I am in the final stages and I will be back for next season.” Appiah told footballmadeinghana.com

“I am a free agent so I can join any team which brings an offer.”

A product of Cheetah FC, the budding forward has also featured for Laos club Champasak United.
