The Black Stars management committee are in United Arab Emirates (UAE) to inspect the proposed base and facilities for Ghana’s pre-AFCON training camp.
Head coach Kwesi Appiah who is part of the inspection team discovered on Friday evening his side’s group stage opponents and where they will play in the tournament.
The Black Stars are paired in Group F with defending Cameroon, Benin and debutants Guinea-Bissau.
Abu Dhabi has similar weather condition like Egypt in the summer and also provides excellent training facilities.
Ghana will play two of their Group F matches against Benin (25 June) and Cameroon (29 June) in Ismailia and will be based in the city before driving to Suez for their final group game.
