Division One League side Skyy FC have been awarded 3 points and 3 goals after winning a protest over Hasaacas in the ongoing NC Special Competition.
The Disciplinary Committee for the Special Competition has ruled in favour of Skyy FC after Hasaacas brought their Match Day 3 clash to an abrupt end.
The game played at the Daboasi Park on Sunday April 7 saw Hasaacas walking off the field after Skyy FC were awarded a penalty that could have seen them winning the game.
In its ruling signed by Vice Chairman of the DC, Mr. Osei Kwadwo and delivered to both parties, the DC upheld the protest of Skyy FC and declared Hasaacas FC is as the offending team and considered as having lost the match and accordingly 3 points and 3 goals is awarded in favour of Skyy FC.
The Head Coach of Hasaacas Joe Agyemang and his Team Manager Kwasi Hammed Williams have, each, been banned for 2 matches and fined GHC2000.
The NC will also refund the Ȼ5000 paid by Skyy FC to lodge the protest following their win of the protest.
The game ended 1-1 at the time Hasaacas were walking off the field.
