Officials of the Ghana FA Normalization Committee and the Black Stars Management Committee have inspected the Ismailia Stadium in Egypt after the group stage draw.
The delegation was at the draw for the group stage of the tournament which took place in Cairo on Friday.
Led by Deputy Sports Minister Perry Okudzeto, who doubles as vice-chairman of the interim Black Stars Management Committee, the team inspected the facility which will be hosting the opening two games of the Black Stars in the group stage.
The 18,525-seater capacity Ismailia Stadium is currently undergoing renovation.
But the Local Organizing Committee for the tournament are optimistic the facility will be ready before the tournament starts on 21 June.
Ghana will play two of their Group F matches against Benin (25 June) and Cameroon (29 June) in Ismailia and will be based in the city.
