Division One League side Krystal Palace FC have signed a partnership deal with Japanese sports firm, Sports X Consultancy to facilitate the rapid development of the club.
Following the deal, the original name has been changed from Krystal Palace FC to Kings Palace FC.
Previously known as Krystal Palace FC, the Division One League side seeks to spearhead the development of football in Akosombo, hence the partnership with the Japanese outfit to engineer the agenda.
The deal will see a 15,000-capacity stadium built for the club as well as four training pitches.
There will also be exchange programs that will see personnel from Kings Palace travelling to Japan for courses while personnel from Sports X also come to Ghana yo exploit business opportunities in the sports industry.
Speaking exclusively to FootballMadeInGhana.com, Founder, Owner and President of the club, Daniel Darko Boateng revealed inherent details of the deal.
“The duration of the deal is unlimited. But it will be mutually beneficial to each party,” he said.
“A 15,000-capacity stadium will be built for the club with four additional training pitches.
” The deal also includes exchange programs for both parties as well as the salaries of all our coaches,” he added.
The deal was signed on Friday, 12th April 2019 at the Afrikiko Beach Resort in Akosombo to mark the start of a new era in the history of the club.
