Released striker from Asante Kotoko, Frederick Boateng has applauded the professional ethics of coach CK Akonnor insisting he’s the reason for the massive transformation of the club.
Akonnor was appointed the head coach of the club in October 2018 and guided them to the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup within three months of his appointment.
Boateng failed to break into CK Akonnor’s side but insists the the gaffer is a wonderful manager.
“My relationship with Coach C.K. Ackonnor is cordial.
“I don’t know why I fell out of favour in his scheme of affairs but I don’t blame him for anything.
“He is a good coach who got Asante Kotoko to where we got to in the Confederations Cup,” he added.
Asante Kotoko are currently on top on the Premier A of the NC Special Competition.
