Division One League side Akosombo Krystal Palace FC have adopted Kings Palace FC as their name new and are to referred as such henceforth.

The Akosombo-based Division One League side have also unveiled a new logo for the club.

The new name and the logo were unveiled on Friday at the Afrikiko Beach Resort in Akosombo.

Formerly known as Krystal Palace, the club has adopted the new name to synchronize with the customs and traditions of the area.

The DOL side have also announced the appointment of former Hearts of Oak trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi as the head coach of the club who is likely to be assisted by Nassamu Yakubu and former Black Stars winger Yaw Preko.
