Ghana’s senior women’s national team – The Black Queens – are set to begin camping on Monday ahead of the WAFU Zone B Championship in Ivory Coast
The Black Queens of Ghana in their quest to defend the WAFU Zone B title they won in Ivory Coast in 2017 will camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram.
Head Coach Mercy Tagoe has invited 25 players to begin camping on Monday.
The Queens won the maiden edition of the Championship in 2017 after beating host Ivory Coast by lone goal to nil courtesy Janet Agyir.
The 10 days tournament begins next month between 8th May, 2019 to 18th May, 2019 will see Ghana defending their title or loosing it to another year.
Ghana have been drawn in Group B, together with Mali, Nigeria, and Guinea ahead of the second edition of the Union of West African Football Union (WAFU) B Women’s Cup of Nations in Abidjan in May.
