Head coach of Ashanti Gold Svetislav Tanasejiv has blamed referee Charŋls Bulu for his side’s 2-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on Wednesday in the NC Special Competition

A second half brace from Fatawu Safiu condemned the Miners to their first defeat in the Normalization Committee Special Competition.

Speaking to the media after the game, Ashanti Gold coach Svetislav Tanasejiv was unhappy with officiating and insisted his side were denied a clear penalty in the second half.

“If Asante Kotoko is a big club why are referees always helping them?

“We had a clear penalty he ignored. I’m extending an invitation to the referee into our dressing room just to observe how my boys were shedding tears, knowing he caused our loss,” he blasted.

Ashanti Gold will face Medeama SC in match day five on Sunday.
