Head coach of Medeama SC Samuel Boadu has revealed he couldn’t sleep well last Thursday after beating Asante Kotoko by just a lone goal.
Kwame Boateng’s first half penalty was the difference as the mauve and yellows pipped the Porcupine Warriors in match day two of the Normalization Committee Special Competition.
The Tarkwa-based side failed to increase the tally despite having some glorious opportunities.
And Boadu reveals his sides inability to beat Kotoko more than one did not make him sleep well.
Speaking on Sikka FM this morning, Samuel Boadu revealed he couldn’t sleep last night after managing to beat Kotoko by only one goal blaming the rain for disrupting their plays.
“I didn’t sleep well last night. We should have beaten Asante Kotoko by more goals.
“The rains disrupted our pattern of play which is inspired by our high pressing which Kotoko had no antidote to,” he said.
Medeama SC will not be involved in any game over the weekend because of the lack of participation of Wa All Stars.
They will face Bechem United on Wednesday in the Match day four of the competition.
