Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has claims the Porcupine Warriors are still motivated despite their painful exit in the CAF Confederation Cup.
According to the shot stopper, they are motivated to win the Special Competition and go back to the CAF club competition next season.
Anna spoke about their motivation in the compettition despite admitting his side struggled go overcome Aduana Stars in their opening game.
“To be fair, we don’t really struggle to play. We weren’t happy with our exit in the CAF Confederation Cup.
“But we know we have another option, and the motivation is to win the next competition. The motivation is to go back to Africa,” he emphasized.
“Even though we weren’t good today. I’m sure we will pick up in the subsequent games. I told the boys to hold their head high despite our struggle today,” he told the media after the game against Aduana.
Abass Mohammed’s early goal was the difference as the Porcupine Warriors beat Aduana Stars by lone goal to get off to a winning start in the Normalization Committee Special Competition.
