Ashanti Gold got off to a winning start in the Normalization Committee Special Competition by beating Eleven Wonders by 2-0.
Two first half goals from Shafiu Mumuni and Salia Ouattara settled the game for the Miners at Obuasi.
Svetislav Tanasejiv started with his strong team by handing the trio of Richard Dodji , Ouattara Salia and Shafiu Mumuni starting roles upfront.
