Division One League side Unity FC have appointed Ghanaian sports journalist Alexander Kwaku Oppong as the Communications Manager of the club.

Famously known as Edilson or the Thinker Man in the media circles, the intelligent and well-mannered young journalist was announced as the new Communications Manager of the club on Tuesday.

The KNUST graduate who currently holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and Sports Management from a Chinese University is expected to employ his enormous knowledge in sports management to catapult the club to greater heights.

Currently working with Fox FM in Kumasi, Edilson’s envious media experience ranges from his days at Focus FM and Otec FM where he made huge strides.

The young journalist who is admired for his calmness is expected to structure the communications of the club, serve as a special vehicle for all their official correspondence as well as providing consultancy on how the club’s communications must be carried.

Unity FC is a Division One side based in the former Brong Ahafo Region and plays in the Zone 1 of the Division One League.

With the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition set to start very soon, Edilson’s inclusion in the management of the club is set to fuel the side to stage a wonderful show in the competition.
