Ghana winger Davidi Accam was on fire on Sunday after grabbing a brace for Philadelphia Union over Columbus Crew as well as providing an assist for his side’s third goal.
It was an all Ghanaian affair as Philadelphia Union blew away Columbus Crew in the Major League Soccer on Sunday with four Ghanaian players in action.
But it was David Accam who reigned supreme after guiding Philadelphia Union to a sumptuous 3-0 win in the game that was one sided.
Accam registered a brace to guide the home side the colourful win to register their first win of the new MLS season.
The swift winger broke the virginity of the game on the half hour mark to set the tone for a wet day for the visitors.
Accam doubled the lead ten minutes later with a brilliant finish before providing an assist for Brazilian midfielder Ilsinho to seal the 3-0 win for the home side.
But for Lalas Abubakar, both Harrison Afful and Jonathan Mensah featured and lasted the full throttle of the game for Columbus Crew.
