Ghana new boy Caleb Ekuban has expressed delight over his lone sttike that led Ghana to a 1-0 win over Kenya in the 2019 AFCON Qualifier on Saturday.
The Trabzonspor striker’s 82nd minute strike was enough as Ghana leapfrogged their Kenyan counter part in the group.
Speaking after the match, The Italian born Ghanaians described the feeling of scoring his first goal on his debut as amazing
“It’s quite amazing,” he chuckled after the game.
“The first thing, as a striker, you want to do is to score so when you get the opportunity and you score it feels like it is not even real. I am really happy,” he added.
Ekuban is on season loan from English Championship side Leads United to the Turkish side.
He has scored four goals in 21 appearance for the Turkish Super Lig side, Trabzonspor.
