Axed member of the Ghana FA Normalization Committee Kofi Duah-Adonteng has confirmed that former Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor is replacing him on the committee.

According to the aggrieved Lawyer, he was informed of the changes by the President of the Committee Dr. Kofi Amoah on Thursday morning.

Surprised of his dismissal from the committee, Duah-Adonteng revealed that the Bayern legend is replacing him on the committee as outlined by the president.

“It’s true that Dr Kofi Amoah has told me I am no more a member of the Normalization committee but has been replaced by Samuel Osei Kuffour,” he told Oyerepa FM in Kumasi.

“He claimed the letter is from FIFA. I am surprised because I don’t know why FIFA took such decision,” he expressed shock.

The Normalization Committee has less than 24 days to complete their mandate since assuming office in September.

Duah-Adonteng is one of the four members who were appointed by FIFA to serve on the committee to oversee the restructuring of Ghana football.
