Karela United striker William Opoku Mensah has left Ghana to begin his professional career with American second-tier side Swope Park Rangers.
Mensah, 22, is actually contracted to Sporting Kansas City in the MLS but the club have given him to their feeder club Swope Park Rangers for him to get more playing time and be equipped before reverting back to Kansas.
The talented attacker was one of the exciting players in the Ghana Premier League last season netting a hat-trick against Hearts of Oak before the competition was suspended.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko expressed interest in signing Mensah for their Africa campaign but he chose to move to US when the foreign deal came.
