Ahead of the sod-cutting exercise for the construction of a new stadium for Medeama SC, the design for the beautiful facility has been released.

The sod-cutting ceremony will take place of Wednesday.

The 10,000-seater capacity,  which will be fully covered, is estimated to cost $13 million and is being funded by Goldfields, Tarkwa-Damang.

A retractable roof will be added to the stadium in a bid to modernize and  convert the stadium into an avant-garde architectural icon.
