Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko suffered a controversial penalty in their clash with Nkana FC at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe in they went down by 3-1.
Kotoko center back Abdul Ganiu Ismail brought down striker Walter Bwalya in what looked like outside the box but the center referee swiftly pointed to the spot.
The penalty was beautifully converted by Freddy Tshimenga to boost the hone side in their 3-1 conquest if the Porcupine Warriors.
Video replays indicate the incident happened outside the box while Bwalya intelligently fell in the box to force the referee to award Nkana the penalty.
But was the tackle really outside the box or the referee was right?
