Communications Manager for Asante Kotoko Sarfo Duku has descended heavily on Kotoko players for their defeat to Nkana in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors suffered their second defeat in the competition after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Nkana FC in Zambia.
A comedy of errors saw the Zambians walked away with the three points.
Speaking to Oyerepa FM just after game, Sarfo Duku fingered some players for the side’s defeat in Zambia.
“Things didn’t go the way we wanted today, Maxwell Baako and Emmanuel Gyamfi who were to supply balls to Yacouba were pale shadows of themselves today, they weren’t themselves today,” he said.
“Most importantly, our defenders let us down, thank God Felix Annan came to the party today, if not, we would be singing a different song,” he added.
The defeat means Kotoko are languishing at the bottom of the group with three points after three games.
