Ahead of his side’s clash with Nkana on Sunday, Asante Kotoko gaffer Charles Akonnor has fired a word of caution to his opponent insisting his side is in Zambia to make history.

Nkana FC are yet to be besten at home tasted in any CAF competition, but C K Akonnor insists records are made to be broken.

“History will always tell you that Nkana FC haven’t lost at home in continental football in decades, but history is always bound to be broken and we’re here to make sure that happens.”

“We are here for serious business because we know that we have to get something away if we want to go to the next level,” he told the media at the pre match press briefing.

Both sides are with three points each after two games, winning one and losing one in the process.

Group C is opened with all sides carrying the same points making this weekend’s clashes very crucial for all the teams.
