Asante Kotoko deputy coach Akapo Patron is not worried over the absence of key midfielder Richard Senanu who is likely to miss the side’s clash with Nkana on Sunday.
The mercurial midfielder picked up an injury in the clash with ZESCO United on Sunday and was forced out of the game.
While many are sweating over the midfielder’s absence for the clash, Coach Patron believes he is replaceable and his absence is an opportunity for another player to shine.
“Senanu is a very important player but missing him in our next game against Nkana will not affect us much because we have some other players to who are ready to replace him,” he said.
“It could also be a blessing for another player who will get the opportunity to show what he can do,” he added.
Kotoko will travel to Zambia for the clash with Nkana on Sunday as they eye winning the game to climb on top of the group.
