Asante Kotoko have picked useful lessons from their clash with ZESCO United on Wednesday and will be equipped with the requisite information to face Nkana on the 24th of this month, according to trainer CK Akonnor.
The former Black Stars skipper guided the Porcupine Warriors to beat the Zambian giants on Wednesday and despite admitting the Zambian are a good side, he insists they have given his side an idea of the challenge against Nkana on Sunday.
“We have played a Zambian side and we have an idea the challenge we will face against Nkana.
“It’s not going to be easy but we will go for good results and hopefully we will return to Ghana smiling,” Akonnor told FootballMadeInGhana.com
“We’ve already seen how they played against ZESCO and we will watch them again.
“Obviously the approach to the game will be different since it’s an away game but we’ll not hide and show what we can do and try to get the best results there to ensure we can qualify to the next stage of the competition,” he added.
The Porcupine Warriors are expected to leave Ghana for Zambia next week for the clash which will be played nine days from today.
