Ghanaian duo of James Kotei and Akwasi Asante are in the starting eleven of Tanzanian champions Simba FC as they host Al Ahly  this afternoon at the Tanzania National Stadium.

The pair were superb last week despite Simba’s 4-0 defeat to Ahly in Cairo and they have been able to maintain their position in Patrick Aussems squad.

Kotei is playing at his favourite defensive midfield role and will be task to protect the back four as well as send the long ball to Emmanuel Okwi whilst fast-running Akwasi Asante is also occupying the left-back role.

A win for Simba will take them to six points and keep their hopes of qualification alive.

Fellow Ghanaian Nicholas Gyan is also on the Simba bench.
