Ghanaian attacker Emmanuel Boateng will work under Veteran Korean tactician Choi Kang-Hee at Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang.
The 59-year-old gaffer is replacing Bernd Schuster who has left the club ahead of the new season.
It is understood that Choi Kang-Hee asked the management of the club to sign Boateng from Levante after he watched video clips of his games against Barcelona and Real Madrid last season.
Dalian Yifang finished 11th last season and they are hoping to improve upon it this coming season.
Kang-Hee has also tasked the management of the club to get him Napoli skipper Marek Hamsik to beef up his midfield.
