Former Ghana Association Football President Kwesi Nyantakyi has spoken to the media for the first time since he was captured on hidden camera by the Tiger Eye private investigative group and insists he committed no crime.
According to the former FIFA Council member Tiger Eye Pi led by the famous Anas Aremeyaw Anas is a criminal organization.
The video which was first shown publicly in Ghana on June 6th last year rocked the world of football and FIFA reacted by provisionally suspending Nyantakyi and later banned him for life from all football related activities.
The former first Vice President of CAF is the subject of investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ghana Police but the finality of this investigation has not arrived.
The unshaken WA All Stars owner spoke on NET 2 Television on Thursday morning and gave a deep narration of how it all began.
“I say that Tiger Eye Pi is a criminal organization and what they do is criminal in most countries except Ghana.
“You cannot record people private conversation like that. It is criminal in places like Dubai where they recorded me,” Nyantakyi said.
“In Ghana we only say it is a breach of the constitution but it is a criminal offense in many other jurisdictions,” he added.
Nyantakyi who was in a confident mood adds that Tiger Eye does not unravel criminality but they rather set up their subjects to commit crimes and use that against them.
“Tiger Eye did not uncover crimes. They set up people to commit crimes and then turn to use that against them. This is not acceptable that you entice, set up and encourages people to commit and beat them with that stick.”
