AC Horoya coach Patrice Neveu has lauded Ghanaian defender Godfred Asante and his colleagues following their impressive CAF champions League 1-0 win over Platinum FC in Mozambique over the weekend.
Asante was the key man at the back for the Guinean champions as he put up a superb performance for his side who won their game by a goal to nothing.
Neveu praised the Ghanaian and his mates as he believes they can build upon the results in their next games.
“We are happy with the result that we have had so far, especially the away victory. We are also satisfied with the quality of the play, the players played well, at the back where Asante was. It was a good game,’’ Neveu said.
Horoya dominated the game and scored through a Hamed Marius Assoko’s 51st minute penalty after Mandela Ocansey had been brought down.
Horoya are now second in Group B with four points from three games.
