Kumasi Asante Kotoko are on their way to Accra to complete departure formalities ahead of their trip to Sudan for their CAF Confederations Cup Group C game against Al Hilal.

The Porcupine Warriors are expected to leave Ghana on Thursday via Ethiopian Airlines for the game on Sunday at the Al Hilal Stadium in Omdurman.

Kotoko are going with an 18-players aside the technical team headed by Charles Akonnor and some management team members.

The Porcupine Warriors will be going all out for a win in Sudan as they seek to start the Group stage on a bright note.

Asante Kotoko have not lost an away match so far in the competition having drawn with Kariobangi Sharks in Kenya and defeating Coton Sports 3-2 in Cameroon
