Ghana’s U20 side – The Black Satellites shared the spoils with Nigerien club Sahel FC in another pre-tournament friendly as the search for a win still continues for Jimmy Cobblah.
The game proved difficult in the first half as each side failed to find the back of the net before the break.
But it was Sahel FC who broke the virginity of the game just two minutes after the break with a beautiful header from Farouk Fuseini.
The Black Satellites pushed for the equaliser until the 70th minute when Sabit Abdulai restored parity.
This draw means the Satellites are yet to record a win in their last 4 preparatory games ahead of the tournament.
Following a 3-0 defeat to Dreams FC, Jimmy Cobblah’s men were handed a 2-1 defeat by Hearts of Oak before leaving Ghana for Niger.
They suffered a solitary defeat to host nation Niger in their first international friendly before today’s draw with Sahel FC.
Many Ghanaians are not convinced Jimmy Cobblah and his boys will make the country proud but the coach insists his side will stage a wonderful tournament.
