Ghana defender Abdul Rahman Baba has joined French Ligue 1 side Stade Reims on a six-month loan deal.

The talented left-back joins the Stade Auguste Delaune on loan from Chelsea as he eyes a return to top form.

Baba played for Schalke in the first half of this current season but had to terminate the deal in December because adequate playing time could not be guaranteed.

The Ghanaian has one and half more years left on his existing contract and he could join Stade Reims on a permanent deal after the loan deal.
