Tunisian coach of Al-Hilal Club Irad Zaafouri is beaming with confidence as his side prepares to welcome Asante Kotoko on Sunday on the occasion of Match-day One of the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup.

The twenty-seven times champions of Sudan bounced back from their first defeat of the season in the Sudan Premier League against Merreikh Al- Fasher to defeat Al-Ahli Shendi on the road by 1-0 on Monday and Zaafouri cannot hide his delight after this big win five days ahead of the crunch duel against Ghana’s Kotoko.

“The match had greatly contributed to the mentality of the players for the upcoming African confrontation against Kotoko.” Zaafouri said.

“There was more than one player shining during the course of the match and that is positive” he added.
