Ghana defender Richard Ocran is glad after helping his Nkana FC side to win the Zambian Charity Shield Title.
Ocran was a pillar at the back on Saturday as the Red Devils beat their sworn rivals Zesco FC to defend the title they won last year.
The experienced Ghanaian central defender says it was a great game and he is glad his team lifted the ultimate.
“It was a great game against Zesco and I am excited we won, they are a good side but we were on top and we won.” Ocran told footballmadeinghana.com
“Personally, I am excited as this is another trophy for me, I will keep on working hard for the team to win more laurels,”
The former Dreams FC and Ashanti Gold guardsman further stated that football is a game of uncertainties and the fact that they have defeated Zesco does not mean is a done done deal for them when they meet again next week in the CAF Confederations Cup.
“It is football and anything can happen, the fact that we have defeated them does not mean we have the urge. The CAF Confederations Cup is a different game. We are going all out,”
Nkana FC will play as guest to Zesco United at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Sunday, February 3, 2019 in the CAF Confederationns Cup.
