The Confederation of African Football has appointed Egyptian referee Mahmoud Zakaria Mohamed El Banna to handle the CAF Confederation Cup Group C opener between Al Hill and Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Omdurman.

Mahmoud Zakaria will be assisted by compatriots Tahssen Abo El Sadat Bedyer and Youssef Wahid Youssef Elbosaty as first and second assistants respectively.

The 32-year-old earned his FIFA referee badge in 2014.

The game is scheduled to kick off on Sunday February 3, 2019 – 7pm Sudanese time and 5pm in Ghana.
