Ghanaian third-tier side Cheetah FC have donated sets of items and a cash of amount of GH¢2,000 to Special Olympics Ghana to help in their preparations for the Special Olympics World Summer Games which kicks off in
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from March 14-21.
According to Mr. Yartey, the bankroller of Cheetah FC, the items which includes training bibs, football cones, six boxes of bottle water and T- rolls, is to help them get on track as they seek to make Ghana proud.
The Special Olympics is designed specifically for sportsmen and women with disabilities to showcase their talent.
Ghana will compete in soccer, athletics and other disciplines in the global event.
