Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori has emerged as a transfer target for Orlando Pirates.
The Johannesburg-based club are second on the league log but their goalkeeping department has been their major problem with with first-choice shots topper Brilliant Khuzwayo failing to be brilliant this campaign.
According to media reports from South Africa, manager Milutin Sredojevic is in the market looking for a goalkeeper and with just a week to the end of the winter, he is said to have switched his attention to Richard Ofori.
The Ghanaian has been splendid for Maritzburg in the South African topflight and has been his club’s best player keeping several clean sheets despite the team still wallowing in the drop zone.
Pirates could pay not less than $500,000 to the “Team of Choice” in order to get the Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper.
