Nkana FC Ghanaian defender Richard Ocran says they don’t fear Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The experienced guardsman says the CAF Confederations Cup Group C is tough but they do not fear Kotoko as he will brief his team mates about them.
“The group we find ourselves is very tough, it won’t be easy. There are no minnows in the group but the only advantage we have now is that I know Kotoko very well as well as the coach.” Ocran told Oyerepa FM
“I worked with coach CK Akonnor at Dreams FC and also at Ashgold. Talking to my other colleagues, they have no fear even though Kotoko is big on the continent. Our target is the semi finals and we will do our best to qualify because all the other 3 are also capable.”
He added:” My other colleagues have been asking me about Kotoko even the coach. I know a lot of the players at Kotoko and will brief my colleagues on them.”
Ocran played for Amidaus Professionals before moving to Cyprus. He returned to Ghana and joined Dreams FC after which he moved to Ashanti Gold.
He moved to Nkana FC in Zambia last year and has proven to be one of their dependable central defenders.
