Ashanti Gold midfielder Amos Addai has left the shores of Ghana for Russia as he eyes a professional deal.

The talented offensive midfielder has been invited by FC Nizhny Novgorod for trials and he will be signed this winter or in June if he is successful.

Addai, 23, was one of the stars of the Ashanti Gold team last year before the league was suspended in June after the Anas expose.

He was one of the players being chased by Kotoko for their Africa campaign before the Russian interest came.
