AshGold shot stopper Robert Dabou has urged Ghanaians to offer their maximum support to Asante Kotoko in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Robert Dabuo who helped AshantiGold to win the maiden edition of the Betway Cup over the weekend told FootballMadeInGhana.com that, Asante Kotoko are representing Ghana in the elite competition and need the backing of the whole nation.

“We should all give our maximum support to Asante Kotoko in the Confederation Cup because they are representing Ghana in Africa,” he said.

“I will urge them to try and win all their home matches and try get some away draws. I think it will help them to qualify to the quarter finals,” he added.

The former Wa All-Stars goalkeeper, however, boasted his current club Ashanti Gold as the best club in Ghana despite Kotoko’s heroics in Africa.
