The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have lauded their supporters and the entire football fraternity following their Confederations Cup Group stage qualification.
The Porcupine Warriors defeated Coton Sports Garoua by two goals to one at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday to qualify to the money zone 5-3 on aggregate.
The Fabulous club praised the fans and the enire Ghanaian football top guns who were at the stadium to give them the needed backing.
“Asante Kotoko are grateful to the supporters and all stakeholders for their immense support yesterday.” the club stated.
This is the first time in 10 years that Kotoko have made it to the Group stage of the African club competition.
