Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng is on the verge of joining La Liga giants Barcelona from Italian side Sassuolo Calcio.
According to Spanish tabloid Marca, Boateng has already said goodbye to his Neroverdi teammates and has left camp ahead of a move to Nou Camp after Sassuolo and Barcelona completed talks.
Barcelona boss, Ernesto Valverde is looking a for a cover up for Luis Suarez and has identified the 31-year as an option after failing to grab Alvaro Morata and Christian Stuani who were his prime target.
Boateng is not new to the La Liga as he had a good time at Las Palmas scoring ten goals and providing five assists in 29 games despite playing in various positions.
The Ghanaian star’s contract with Sassuolo expires on June 30, 2021 but they are ready to cash in on him.
Currently, he is valued at 7 million Euros.
