Following the magnificent rise to the top of the Bundesliga table, with six points separating them and favourites Bayern Munich, TSG Hoffenheim defender Kassim Adams has tipped Borussia Dortmund to life the Bundesliga title this season.
The Yellow and Blacks clinged the top of the Bundesliga table with 42 points before the break scoring 44 goals, the highest by a club in the top European leagues in the first half of the leagues.
With their overwhelming form this season, the Black Stars defender is convinced the Signal Iduna side can turn the tables and snatch the title from Bayern Munich this season.
“I will say they have played a very good first half of the season. They have quality to play very good offensive football. Yes I will say if their play continue like this, then the end of the season they might be champions,” he told FootballMadeInGhana.com in an exclusive interview.
Kassim, however, believes that the number of competitions Dortmund are currently playing in may affect them along the line as they will play too many matches.
“They can win but will have to work harder. They are in all competitions now and for that, Bayern have got the experience to play. But I still tip them to manage the competitions and take the title.
“This time they have made a very good squad for their team. I always say Bayern are the favorite. But Dortmund are doing a very good job. Hopefully they can be champions at the end of the season,” he ended.
Kassim joined Hoffenheim at the beginning of this season and has since played in all competitions for the side.
