DC United Ghanaian defender Kofi Opare is back to full fitness after ten weeks on the sidelines.
Opare’s 2018 MLS season ended on October 28 after he torn the ligaments in his knee during a league game but he has now recovered fully and will start pre-season with his club.
“After two and a half months since surgery, the doctor has fully cleared me to play again. I can’t thank the the lord enough for guiding me through this tough process.” Opare twitted on Wednesday.
The return of the 28-year-old defender is good for manager Ben Olsen as he begins preparations for the new campaign.
