The former Olympique de Marseille striker finally registered his first Premier League goal for Crystal Palace against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the mid-week.

The Ghana forward had found it difficult to open his league account for Roy Hodgson’s side since making the move to the Selhurst Park last summer but at last broke the duck on Wednesday at the Molineaux when he opened the scoring for his seven minutes from time before captain Milivojevic sealed the win with a 90th minute penalty.

It took Jordan 756 minutes in 13 appearances to get his first league goal for the Eagles who are now 14th on the standings on 22 points after Week 21.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson wasf full of praises for the former Swansea  striker: “I thought we were the team pushing for the goal and when we eventually got it I think we can say we deserved it.

“Jordan worked so hard and it was fitting he could score the goal that has eluded him and us for so long. I’m really pleased with the performance, the discipline and I’m delighted to win a game away from home because it makes the Christmas period quite a good one for us.” he is quoted by the BBC.
