Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp says they came to Etihad Stadium on Saturday with a motive and it was to win the game.
Schlupp netted the second goal for Palace and was outstanding as the London side went away to beat defending champions Manchester City by two goals to one.
The versatile player who operated from the left wing revealed that they had prepared well for the game and went very focused.
“It was a special performance,” he told Crystal Palace TV.
“To come to a club like Manchester City is never easy and I feel we fully deserved the three points.
“All week we have been talking about having no fear and come into this one off the back of a good result last week and we wanted to take plenty of the positives from [the win over Leicester] into this one and the main thing was not to have any fear.
“You have seen some teams come here and almost play to lose and we never do that because we go into every game trying to win and we managed to do that.”
Schlupp has scored two goals in his last four games for Palace this season in the English Premier League.
