Reports emerged recently that owner Kwesi Nyantakyi is considering to sell Wa All Stars F.C and Enos Adepah who won the club’s only major silverware in 2016 perfectly agrees with the reported decision of his former boss.
The former Ghana Football Association boss was banned for life by FIFA in November and is looking to sell the club since he cannot actively be involved in football again so far as the FIFA decision remains.
” The fact of the matter is the decision to sell the club won’t be a source of good news to the people of Wa if the new oner decides to move the club from the area.” coach Adepah told FootballmadeinGhana.com
“The development of the stadium would be retarded. Because it was because All Stars were playing there as the only premier league club that is why the stadium was given some face-lift. So if All Stars in no more then it will affect the development of the stadium. Thats obvious.” the Eleven Wonders trainer explained.
“The premier league is the biggest source of happiness for the people of Wa. Wa went international thanks to the league success and playing in Africa. These achievements make the people of Wa proud when they receive some of the best Ghanaian clubs there. ” he said.
Despite enumerating number of negative effects in the event that All Stars is sold and relocated , the Ghana premier league winning manager believes the current predicament of the former GFA President means putting up the club for sale would be best decision.
“If the owner Mr. Nyantakyi wants to sell the club, I agree with him 100% because his current state won’t allow him to be involved actively. I do understand if only he wants to sell.” Adepah added.
