Asante Kotoko are the only club representing Ghana in Africa in the 2018/19 season and management member Edmund Ackah believes the Porcupine Warriors are the club of the moment in the country.
The team of C.K Akonnor fought out a goalless draw at Kariobangi Sharks last Saturday and ahead of the return leg on Saturday the Kotoko official has asks fans of rival club Hearts of Oak to show respect for the country’s team of the moment.
“The team of the moment in Ghana now is Kotoko. Hearts of Oak is not strong enough to compete and that is we did not hear of them when we (Kotoko) were fighting for the slot to play in Africa.” Edmund Ackah said on Nhyira FM.
“What we are saying is that we want our supporters to storm the stadium to help us beat Kariobangi Sharks. And I say this again that we do not need the help of referees to beat them. We only need our fans come in numbers to support us.” he added.
